Tessera Garden is currently comprised of Ricky Kennedy with the support of his loving wife. We started growing produce too sell in the local community in 2024 on part of our 2 acre yard. We grow a diversity of fruits and vegetables on the intensively managed garden area.

Our farming practice/philosophy follows the no-till, organic, regenerative, and natural farming methods. We believe in promoting health of soil and plant life, which means we disturb the soil as minimally as possible, add plant-based fertility with micronutrients and inoculated with diverse microbial life, and never apply pesticides or herbicides.

The name of our farm is inspired by the term for the tiles–tesserae–that an artist uses to compose a beautiful mosaic. In the same way, we hope you will use the food from your local farms to create a beautiful meal to share with friends and family.
